This website is the latest attempt to inform the scientific community and interested, open-minded individuals about the facts surrounding AHS-RNG. The above quote from John von Neumann, as taken from the published Proceedings, is in black and red. Both parts form a clear statement. We found that a major player in the "quantum industry" showed only the black part to convince the public that a computer cannot generate true random numbers. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people believed this false statement. Since the authors of most publications no longer check the truth of the facts, this claim continued to spread (in reality a marketing hoax to support the quantum industry). This is very bad science, in fact no science at all.
As Karl Popper taught, you can only falsify an assertion. If one claims that a computer cannot generate true random numbers, one must falsify all conceivable and possible solutions to meet the requirements of scientific principles. For the last 15 years we have tried to falsify our claim, and we have not found any inaccuracy. This research has been conducted over the last 34 months using a dedicated small HPC (30 TFLOPS) with 1024 cores. Since 2006, the year of our patent application for the AHS-RNG method and a presentation at the 34th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva 2006, we declare that AHS-RNG is a non-mathematical software solution for generating true random numbers that are deterministic and easily reproducible, or secret and not reproducible. The method is to simulate 6 different mixing tools, each with a different function. Together they act as a generator of high quality random numbers by simulating the basic principle of coin tossing.
This website is still under development. We start in the Downloads section with the historical white paper from 2006 and a commentary on the changes since then. An article informs visitors about the various tests we have developed and run on our HPC. More will follow soon. We want to show at "AHS-RNG Demo" with an animation how the bits are calculated in this mixing machine AHS-RNG. This demo of the AHS-RNG is now in the final version. We invite you to try it by clicking the second last navigation button. Our goal is that with this demo all potential users will easily understand how our method of generating true random numbers works and that it is not an arithmetical procedure. We are convinced that John von Neumann would have worked intensively on this.
